Custom Saddlemaking and Repair Services

McKenna Saddlery can work with you for any of your saddle or leatherworks needs. This includes saddle fitting consultations, saddle repairs, complete re-flock or flocking touchups, adjustments, leather accessories, patching, footwear, and more.

Fitting Session - $150

We come to you within 50 miles of Santa Fe, NM. If you decide to reflock after a fitting session, this fee will be deducted from the reflocking price of $300.

Reflocking - $300

$150 fitting fee will be deducted from this price if you decide to reflock after a fitting session.

All of our saddles are made in the U.S.A. and designed by John McKenna out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. This includes quality, custom-fit English and Western saddles. We make sure every saddle is the best fit for horse and rider. Your horse will love what we do to make your ride more comfortable.

CUSTOM SOUTHWEST SADDLE

A light and comfortable in the seat Spanish-inspired saddle. Can be made to customer specs including seat padding, width of seat, and cantle design. It has English-style leathers but fenders can be added as well. Any stirrups can be added but endurance are typically used. Tooling/carving, hand-made conchos and hardware upgrades available.

CUSTOM LEATHER HALF CHAPS

Besides being protective, our half-chaps provide a welcome, stylish alternative when full chaps are not needed or desired. We tailor and customize them to your liking. Wear them on horse or hog - they're great for both.

CUSTOM LEATHER FULL CHAPS

Pictured above are shotgun chaps with an EZ zipper and front pockets on both legs. Chaps can also be made in your choice of style, color, and detailing. As always, custom made to your measurements so they fit like a glove.
